Congregate Meals Served at Senior Centers
Senior Centers prepare a meal that is generally served at noon. Along with the meal, a Senior Center offers a place to meet and socialize with friends and participate in other activities. If transportation to and from the center is desired, call the Blue Rivers Public Transportation office closest to you. The cost for a round trip is $1.00 per rider.

Home Delivered Meals
Arrangements can be made to deliver a meal to elderly who cannot attend a Senior Center. This service is intended for individuals with limited physical or emotional capacities that makes it hard to shop for food, prepare meals or socialize with others. People who are mobile enough to join others for meals in a group setting where seniors congregate, like senior centers, are encouraged to do so. Alternatives may exist for individuals living in communities where there is not a home delivered meal program.

To-Go Meals
If you don’t qualify for Home Delivered meals, and don’t want to eat at the Senior Center, you can choose to get a hot meal to-go. All Blue Rivers Senior Centers offer meals to-go with advance notice.
